It is the cultural hub for the entire Berkshires Community, most famous for Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony, and Shakespeare & Co, a professional live theater company presenting a vibrant performance season featuring the works of Shakespeare in repertory with classic and contemporary plays. Shake & Co. is prominently located just as you enter the town.
