WHERE IS THE GREAT BARRINGTON FAIRGROUNDS?
Twenty-three years ago, we opened the first An American Craftsman Gallery in Stockbridge, MA, and simultaneously the first Berkshires Arts Festival at Ski Butternut in Great Barrington. After 23 years at Butternut, we are excited to announce another juried event in Great Barrington. We planned this event before the pandemic; unfortunately, it had to be postponed and we are on target for 2023.
After two successful decades at Ski Butternut July 4th weekend, we have realized how unique the Berkshires community is.
Every weekend of the season brings thousands of fresh tourists seeking all of the culture and beauty that has become an international trademark of the Berkshires.

In 2012, the Smithsonian chose Great Barrington as the "Best Small Town in America. "There's something indescribably comfortable yet energetic about this small mountain town. Great Barrington is a quirky, beautiful, and exciting place to visit.
WHERE IS THE GREAT BARRINGTON FAIRGROUNDS?
We will be the first significant event to take place in the fairgrounds, and for those of you who attend our Berkshires Arts Festival in July at Ski Butternut or have never been to the July show? You can expect a refreshing and delightful mid-summer addition at this most convenient location with plenty of free parking.
The Fairgrounds is located in downtown Great Barrington on Rte 7, across from the busiest shopping plaza in the entire Berkshires. The average traffic count, as per Lamar Billboard company, is 25,000 cars daily, and shoppers at the plaza average four thousand people per day.
Our banners will be placed along the highway on the fairgrounds fence, facing the shopping plaza one month before the show, combined with an all-out media blitz, road signs, postcards, and a digital marketing campaign. Expect a great turnout.
