Artworks Great Barrington is a new juried art festival debuting at the height of the Berkshire summer season. The event will take place outdoors and under a large tent, on the expansive grounds of the Great Barrington Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), prominently located on Route 7 / Main Street, adjacent to the area’s largest shopping plaza, with 25,000 cars per day passing the VFW show site. The anchor supermarket is Guidos, the high-end equivalent of Whole Foods.
Artworks is both a high-quality art event and a major community fundraiser, with a portion of all proceeds supporting the Great Barrington VFW—an institution that consistently receives strong community support.
While this is a first-year event, it is the sequel to the historic 25-year-old July Berkshires Arts Festival, produced by the same organizers with a nationally recognized record of success in the Berkshires and beyond.
Our mission is to expand community support, participation, and attendance. August, the height of the tourist season, brings a new group of tourists to the Berkshires.

With VFW support, our show production costs are reduced, allowing us to offer lower booth fees. Berkshires Arts Festival 2026 Exhibitors will receive an $50 discount and the application fee will be waived if application is received by the April 10th deadline. No images necessary.

One of our missions for the VFW Great Barrington Show is to provide opportunities for emerging artists to participate in our festival. the application details for Artworks Great Barrington are outlined below.

Emerging Artists Booth Sharing Opportunity To enable broader participation, booth sharing is available for up to two accepted emerging artists. As part of this process, Director Richard Rothbard will be available to answer your questions at Richard@anamericanartmarketing.com.
