A Note of Thanks — and a Bigger Vision

To every exhibitor who helped launch the first annual Westfield Art + Fashion+ Design Fair: thank you. Your work, your professionalism, and your belief in this new show made the difference.

With that in mind, we have scheduled the 2026 fair for November 6, 7, and 8, moving away from Halloween weekend to provide an even better opportunity for buying and attendance.
Halloween weekend in Westfield is a significant civic occasion, with families engaged in established local traditions. In the inaugural year, the impact of this timing was not fully anticipated. Shifting to November in Year Two will better align with community schedules and capitalize on the strong buzz and positive reviews established in Year One.

Why Westfield Is Poised to Become  New Jersey’s Next  Top-Selling Show
Westfield and its surrounding towns hold a rare concentration of affluent, proven buyers. The local economy consistently ranks in New Jersey’s top tier of discretionary spending. Median household income is about $212,700,and average household income is around $297,000.
And importantly —

  • Year One: We gave them a first-class show (with a few exceptions)
Buyers purchased expensive, high-quality work. This we can build on.
Visitors paid a $12 admission, a comfortable sign that the audience expects and values quality.
The fair validated itself locally as “worth going to.”
The fair also inspired significant word-of-mouth recommendations among discerning buyers:
Westfield is the kind of town where word travels quickly through schools, clubs, downtown merchants, and tightly connected social networks. That network is now awake — and enthusiastic.
  • Easy Access to High-Income Counties and Coastal Buyers
The Armory sits about five minutes off Exit 135 on Garden State Parkway, making the fair an easy trip for buyers coming from:
Bergen County,Union County (on your doorstep), Essex & Somerset Counties. In addition. It is a 40-50 minute Drive
To Monmouth County’s affluent beach towns, including Red Bank, Asbury Park,  Long Branch, Little Silver…and many others.

We firmly believe that by year three, Westfield will have become that great new show, where fine artists will have a new show to sell high end work.
To put Westfield’s potential in perspective, consider Morristown-
the  state’s other major indoor Armory, is the home to a long-running Morristown show — generally well-attended and valuable, but historically skewed toward crafts and jewelry, and an older demographic.
Westfield is emerging differently as a premium indoor market with a buyer base comfortable at higher price points and a serious audience for serious original work.

Our strong show identity — Art  + Design + Fashion—  naturally attracts customers seeking originality and elevated aesthetics.

Year One’s high-ticket sales were not an accident. They were a preview of what's to come.
This past fall brought real national economic stress and a slide in consumer confidence. Even in that choppy economy, Westfield remained unusually insulated.
That resilience matters. It’s the difference between a customer who visits and one who buys.

Looking ahead to 2026, we are currently in discussion with several top local charities to create a Friday night Opening Benefit Preview that will: significantly amplify first-day attendance, deepen community investment in the fair, and bring high-intent early buyers into the fair. We are now members of the Westfield Chamber of Commerce, giving us direct reach to 2,000 local members across the town and neighboring towns.
Full details on the benefit preview will be shared with accepted exhibitors as soon as the partner charity is confirmed.
