 The Old Westfield Craft Market

Westfield, New Jersey, is located 16 miles from Manhattan with a local population of 30,000 and has become a major NJ shopping destination.  For 20 years in the early 80s and 90s, we held a hugely successful show, the Westfield Craft Market, which had a long and successful history and highly regarded reputation as a top East Coast event whose run ended when existing conditions forced us to cancel the show. The show drew affluent crowds, consistently producing excellent sales for the 135 exhibitors.

About Our Advertising Plans.  We understand that few show promoters go into their advertising and marketing details. However, we believe that everyone must be confident about why we will have a significant turnout this coming November. We have strong advertising plans in place to ensure the success of the event. See Details Below.

Why Exhibit at Westfield?

A High-Income, Engaged Clientele. The average median household income is $185,300. with many residents commuting to  New York City. Westfield is just a half hour's drive from Manhattan.

A Regional Shopping & Arts Destination – Downtown Westfield attracts visitors from  New Jersey and New York, boasting over 200 retailers and 400 businesses that keep foot traffic strong year-round.

Prime Westfield Location & Easy Access – The event will be held at The Armory, just minutes from downtown Westfield, across from the high school, and five minutes from Exit 135 on the Garden State Parkway, providing direct access to Monmouth County, South Jersey, and beyond.

This is a great opportunity for seasoned exhibitors to tap into a new market. The Westfield Art+Design+Fashion offers a fresh audience and a special booth fee, making it an excellent venue for those looking to expand their customer base.

For those of you who have had many years showing in Morristown, you will now have the opportunity to meet thousands of new potential clients while inviting your old customers to enjoy seeing a fresh new show.

Westfield Advertising Strategies

We have made it our mission to maintain a strong public presence for every one of our shows. But we are going the extra mile this year as the entire advertising landscape has changed significantly over the past decade. Most newspaper (print) advertising has made online digital news their primary customer resource. Local/small newspapers in print are still important, but the established large circulation papers are now online.

The good news is that their online ads are cost-effective, and with a strong visual message, we will get the attention we are looking for.

As you can see below, our advertising campaign will be extensive and include programmatic advertising.  I doubt you will see another promoter going this deep into getting the kind attention and exposure our Westfield and NYC  Shows will receive. Here is our list of the NJ newspapers where you will see extensive advertising in either print (small local papers) or a combination of online and print in the larger papers. We will reach hundreds of thousands of potential clients within one hour's drive from the Westfield Armory, just 5 minutes from Exit 135 on the Garden State Parkway.

What is Programmatic Advertising?

One month before the show, our programmatic advertising campaign will begin. Our dollar spend will generate 1-1.5 million views directed at our targeted audience.   Programmatic buying of advertising refers to the automated buying and selling of digital advertising space. But it's more than just automation – it's a data-driven approach that helps you get your brand in front of precisely the right audience at the right time.

For example, We will direct our ads to people who shop in certain stores, attend certain events, eat in specific restaurants, and visit websites where potential customers may shop. This will include upscale-related retail websites. These ads will follow them, as we all have experienced, until they hopefully click on our ad. How we look at first impression will determine the result. We will get the clicks!

We will also distribute our postcards, posters, and road signs in all places, local and beyond, as well as public radio & general radio spots.

We will provide our usual online e-cards to send to your clients.

MORE:  Our website will change later in the summer. We plan on having your one-minute videos on our site," Meet The Arts Today." Our email campaigns will invite clients to visit our website to see your videos. It's a good bet that you will have people targeting your booth well before the show. That is if you provide us with a 60-90-second video.

Here is the list of online and print newspapers where we will advertise. We will reach communities north, south, east, and west within a one-hour drive and beyond.
